On September 10, 2018, CCRDA welcomed Laura Solberg as our new Executive Director. Laura brings a deep commitment to the mission and vision of CCRDA, and joins us after serving on the CCRDA board for six years. Her work with CCRDA follows sixteen years of service in the Christian international development field.
Canada’s much-anticipated new International Assistance Policy was released June 9, 2018, a year after undertaking wide-ranging consultations with Canadians. The CCRDA and many of its members took part in these consultations and discussions arising from them and we are glad to be able to share this much-anticipated new policy with our members in order to continue these conversations.
CCRDA was engaged with the Global Affairs Canada International Assistance Review Consultations. The aim was to rethink Canada’s international assistance policies and programs in order to respond better to challenges and opportunities in the new global context.
